Mark R. Matney

Mr. Matney received his B.A. degree in 1989 from The American University in Washington, D.C.  The American University awarded him the Presidential Scholarship all four years while he majored in International Studies and minored in Business Administration and French.  In 1990, Mr. Matney participated in the University of Minnesota’s School of Law Exchange Program in Lyon, France, where he studied the European Economic Community.  Mr. Matney received his law degree in 1992 from the Marshall-Wythe School of Law at the College of William and Mary.  He subsequently graduated Summa Cum Laude in 2005 from Evangel Theological Seminary in Harrisonburg, VA, receiving his Master of Divinity Degree.  Attorney Matney is a member of the Williamsburg Bar Association and the Virginia State Bar, where he is a member of the Trusts and Estates section.  He is affiliated with The Estate Plan and serves on the Board of Directors for Evangel Theological Seminary.
